Is incredible but I am trying to find the tone of the slane intro (clean tone) for tree days ago and is imposible...

Please if somebody can give a idea let me know!

I am playing a gibson les paul custom neck pickup in the AXE II.

Try the middle position

Yeah thanks Fisioaura! Sounds better with the middle position, I know... But the question is if The edge use the neck pickup why sounds not like a neck pickup? Why the equalization of the DVDs are very clear and defined and the sound of a les paul always is cloudy? Is imposible to find the tone of the live DVDs? The Iem sounds use tu be easier to find, and is similar... But the clear tone of the slane castle dvd seems imposible to get it...

There are so many stages before what edge plays on his guitar it reaches your ears..

Cable, fx, ac30, room, mics, pre-amps, pa, recording settings, remastering, dvd, your dvd player, your hifi amp, your speakers/headphone, room..

Thats why its so hard to recreate sounds.. And of some songs there are so many versions, sounds, opinions..
