and sum old effect pedals and my korg SDD2000 for a bit of delay
im on the right track so hopefully can totally nail it with sum more tweaking

Nice bruce, but it sounds a tad sharp to my ears. Did you use a tube a 30 or a modelled one? Is it played at that speed on redrocks?

To be honest, i played this song over and over and over in my youth. Too much. Heared it lost and lots of time. So much, i regularly skip it.. Rarely i play it myself.. So take my comments with a grain of salt ;-)))

Hi jacques it was a Vox Amplug so not really ideal but good since I have neighbours:-)
it was a backing track I had on my laptop.
Am not sure if there is a BT for the red rocks era? Or live aid.
Does anyone have a BT.the one I used is prob a tad too fast

The guitar was on the Bridge pup so I maybe need to tame it
off with the tone control.i went old school with a dyna comp
And the same EQ as edges the 'Pearl eq' pedal.

I totally agree its played out so much but the 'live aid' version
Has a rawness to it I really like and there's a great video on
You Tube of sbs 'live aid' from offical 'live aid' guitar is clear to
