Empress Zoia? Anyone?
I am a Zoia user. Is ANYONE here using Zoia for U2 stuff?
I have seen no U2 emulating patches on the Zoia patchstorage nor discussion on the reddit forums. (OK i saw one, but not a hard one to mimic) It is now 5 years after the release of Zoia. I figured every U2 song would have a patch by now, especially the achtungy stuff. Anyone? Anywhere to look?

It is the worlds most complicated or eloquent multi-effect pedal. Still deciding. It started as a guitar multi effects pedal but the modular synth world kinda dominates it now.

not a great video for guitar players but it explains the interface of blinking lights that symbolize a flow chart of interacting effects.
It is well suited to stacked delay, reverb and ethereal shimmers or the multi layered parallel effect chains like on Achtung Baby. And my hope was to make progress on just that.
I have downloaded many complex patches made by others, but I see little U2. I hoped people here had built some. I guess not. Worth a try.
[EDIT: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YVijSMA5Xzg is pretty good tutorial but long]

I thought you might have worked for Zoia when I saw your first post. I had to look it up. It looks interesting but would also be such a departure from traditional thinking of chains of effects that it isn't going to engage as many U2-style players. Edge's effects, while very complicated, are still based on that thinking. Thanks for bringing it to our attention. It has some marketing 'opportunities' still ahead of it I think but very cool.
