Hi guys i was wondering how i could get the sharp sound (i didnŽt find another word to describe it) Edge gets in many songs like Electric Co, and mainly the main riff in Red Hill Mining Town, got the VOX got the HERDIM, but even this way i cant figure it out yet, iŽve been trying playing but still sounds too soft for me, feedback is welcome, next iŽll be uploading some try to show you what iŽm talking about, feedback is welcome, thanks.

Fresh strings might help ;-)

Vox ac4 is ok for old u2 songs, it doesnt have a topboost channel. Try the new ac4 bl and listen if that makes a difference. It has the topboostchannel of an ac30. Or try a real ac30? Just for trying? You also might take a look at the squier vintage modified 70's guitar.

Just saying try some other stuff in a shop, to see if you can find what you are looking for. If so, you might determine why you cant get it at home, or maybe you hardly hear difference . You try it out.

i use the zoom g 2.1 and sometimes the hazarai mm, but the zoom most of the times, i have made a preset for REd Hill mining town, but sounds too soft on the main riff, iŽll upload a demo when i can.
