Decided to record this again with a different guitar.
Using 2017 Custom Shop LP Standard. Bought from Chicago Music Exchange.
Pups are under wound by 15% so a very vintage tone out of the “PAF” mold.
Guitar doesn’t have a specific year, but it’s built like a true “historic” late 50’s LP.

I'd love to try one of the new 2017-2018 Historics. I have a bunch from other years but haven't found the right 2018 yet.
On the clip - It has presence but could use more low-end in the mix.

Thanks. I’m using an AC30 through garage band so I’ll see if I can tweek the settings.
All effects being used are my actual pedals running into GB. So the only thing that is “digital” is the Amp.
The high/low frequencies sound almost identical to my original recording which was done on my ‘77 LP Custom.
The PUPS on these current day historics are a little “chimey-er”....and tons more overall resonance than a 70’s Custom in my opinion. You could almost play it as an acoustic not even plugged in, it’s THAT resonant.
