Shimmer problems

I have a problem when I change scene to go from the shimmer part to the regular patch. So, I put a volume control with my expression pedal.
This way I can intoduce the shimmer smoothly BUT. even if I bring the shimmer volume down before to change scene, there is a big boost of volume when I switch to the second scene.
Any suggestions?

I am not in front of my unit but....
compressor/amp/cab/delay/reverb

for the shimmer, I use in parallele multi delay, filter and reverb
Both scenes sound great. The problem is when I switch scene, the volume pops up hard. (when I switch from the shimmer to the regular sound)

I will try to make to different patches instead of using scene... I am stocked with this one...

what about your spillover settings? both in the blocks and in the global / config page (spillover should be set to BOTH).

Well. Spill over is already set correctly.
Well, if the global set up is the same for each patch. Then its ok. Its already set that i have spill over on both.
I am not sure that spill over on the patch is fine on delay and reverb. I might only put it on the delay.
What seems bizarre to me is even if spillover is activated in the global (set to both)and on my patches (mute effect in ) it does not seem to work.
Also i made sure that the same block is used on both scenes

Even after spill over setted properly, I still get a volume boost changing scene from shimmer to normal... Axe edit on pause of course when I change....
Any ideas?

To get the infinite shimmer, I have to keep the looper block. Even if nothing is plugged there! If I get rid of this block, no more shimmer
