MOFO muffled guitar riff
Hi All, I am stumped ...
I am creating a MOFO backing track.
I am trying to recreate the muffled guitar riff (not the synth loop) heard in this clip:

Has anyone had any luck with this?
If so, do you recall your signal path?
What effect/filter did you use?
Thanks!

Chris,
I think that Mr. The Edge used an Electrix Filter Factory back in the day, which was basically a Fuzz>Filter>Resonator>LFO

I made a quick AXE FX Patch with a similar effect chain, and managed to get this sound by bending an A up to a B, and back down again (B string, 10th fret bend up to B, back down to A).
The effect chain is Fuzz Face>Filter>Resonator.

Its not by any means perfect, and the filter frequency is way probably off, but, it may at least get you started in the right direction. Probably want to add an EQ to it as well, as the actual guitar track sounds very EQd.
