thanks, trainmaniac! What an awesome find. btw, based on these audio files, I'm starting to think Edge is using shimmer a lot more than I realized. I'm pretty sure I heard it on both "If God Will Send His Angels" and "Discotheque". It's pretty low in the mix on Discotheque, but it's there, underneath the really distorted Big Cheese/Meatball riff he plays just before the "boom-cha" stuff. The shimmer is more audible on IGWSHA, but it almost sounds like there's some kind of dynamic delay-type effect going on there, where the shimmer only comes in at the end of a riff, not while he is playing...
...or I could just be hearing things...I do have to leave for work in about 7 hours
