But (meaning, i know them well) i like saybia a lot. Been to lots of concerts of them in "the early days" in the netherlands and belgium. I didnt like later albums as much. Latest album has a few great songs.
Nice to see (hear) you covering them! Higly appreciated.

Thanks. I`m not that much of a singer, but it`s fun nevertheless
Saybia are great! Great live band. I didn`t like the latest album that much, but I love the other albums
I`ve seen they play a lot of concerts in Belgium and Holland right?
Yes, seen them live many times, the singer has an awesome live voice! Album "these are the days" has only great songs imho. If i am alone in my car i used to sing along, lol.
You should listen to their cover of "ordinairy world", very nice.
I am happy they released a new album.

Yeah, great album. Especially the 11 plus minute song at the end

I just stumbled across this old post by accident! I went to one of their gigs in London at the Camden Barfly, it must have been about 2003 near the time their first album came out. There were only about 150 people in there, mostly Danish. One of the girls in my office who I used to work with at the time actually went to the same school as the singer and that's how I found out about the band. He was a nice guy and came over to chat to her after the gig to talk about their school days. Unfortunately it was a conversation in Danish! But I do remember him being a nice guy. I also said to him "You should sing your songs live at least a semi-tone lower or you're going to kill that amazing voice of yours before you reach 30!"
