    Zooropa cover by CheapEdge

    Hi all,
this is my cover of Zooropa.

I like the repeated wah a lot, so I gave it a try - this is the result, hope you like it

The mix is not my preferred one (guitar high in the mix, Bono's singing much lower in the mix) but though I tried hard, I did not succceed in creating a better background track. But I know many here actually prefer these kinds of mixes, so: enjoy !

    Regards,

    Hey Rob!
Great cover, playing is very good and i love the bt you have made with the 360 intro!
I think you've nailed the delay and wah sound but it needs a bit more grit or dirt imho. If you compare your tone to the 360 live version its a bit to "nice" if you know what i mean.

Again, playing, delay and wah are perfect to my ears, just a bit more dirt.

Great cover. I think that grit that Explorer32 is missing is a palm mute that edge does after the "open note"

I agree - really great cover!! Any details on how/what you used to record (effects, DAW, etc.)? I originally never liked Zooropa but after the 360 tour and seeing/hearing it 3 times I love it --- the Live sound is much better than the studio in my opinion.
