Amp or Monitor. Which fits better on an amp simulator?

    Hi guys,
I would like to know what's your knowledge and experience on this topic. I own an amp Fender Super Champ XD. Which is really perfect to play at home and even on a mid-size place.
I have also my POD HD500 and I do not know if to get more real on amp simulations it's better any standard amp (like mine) or a monitor.
    What do you think?
    Thanks,

    Manu

If you run through Fender amp, i would turn off simulation on HD. If you want to play with simulation, its better to run HD through some neutral sounding speakers (monitors, PA system, keyboard amp, hifi, pc speakers etc)
Its not about gear, the goal is soul.
