This one turned pretty well, although the bridge solo is buried in the mix unfortunately.

A very underrated track IMO. Although the album version is better than the single version, more guitars. :)
And another from scenic Brian Head.
Had a couple brain farts in the solo on my bends. Long night!

It's definitely a great Strat, hope you enjoy it!
I prefer a larger neck profile so mine didn't work out.
For the cost of components, you can build your own to your own specifications for...
Great sound, just wish the guitar was panned left or right to not get in the way of the vocals as much.
I think the guitar sounds great. The recording isn't good enough to be able to tell much about your EQ I think...
Your drummer needs to tighten up his fills, and your singer does need the right...
Thanks Michael! We like keeping him around.
On a side note, I just hate that whiffed D at the beginning. I usually don't do that!
Love the advice Phil, and I completely agree.
The visual element of any tribute band is 50% of the performance, and we have a lot of work to do. It's tough getting an image down when the...
Guys, the common preset for Mysterious Ways floating around really doesn't nail the tone.
I found I had to tweak every parameter, as well as selecting a different distortion.
Now I use mine...
This is actually incredibly helpful! I am in the process of starting composing backing tracks for my tribute.
....or you could just save up and get real T-Tops!
Nothing sounds exactly like them. The degaussing of the magnets is hard to copy in a new pickup. The Manlius's do get close.
Had a fun gig at a ski-resort over the weekend. Cool song for a cool venue!

Sorry I'm just seeing your reply -
When I say "out of phase" here, I mean that the pickup magnets are actually faced in opposite directions, causing it to sound like Peter Green's famous tone.

Hi guys,
Here's a promo U2LV recently finished. It turned out OK, though I'm a little frustrated with a few things.
The recording engineer made some changes to my AC30 which took away some...
You guys are a great tribute band. I wanted to see you at the Brooklyn Bowl last year but had a conflict.
Nice work! Your friend did great.
Tell us about your Strat - what pickups are in it?
The quack position you are in sounds out of phase. Are the pickups wired correctly?
I once had a Strat that had a bridge pickup wired in...
Tempo was definitely too slow for the song, but other than that it sounded great.
There's always someone out there that takes things to the next level!
Really cool post! It really is sort of a "dream come true" to play U2's music on stage.
I've always wanted to be invited up on stage to perform with them, but have never been able to make it...
Hey guys, I'm selling my '58 Explorer. This is in my opinion, the ultimate Explorer to own.
It has all the 2014 Gibson Historic improvements including hide-glue neck joint, long tenon, sleeveless...
I have Manlius T's in my explorer and quite like them. I also have a couple sets of original T's and the Manlius set compares favorably.
Yeah I've had my sights on a Stag Mag or Tallboy because of the authentic single-coil construction.
The Duncans are probably easier to get ahold of at a good price.
That's what I've always done, but the idea with this is to be able to play a quick set straight through without any interruptions.
Yes looks are definitely important and the Variax is somewhat non traditional looking, although they are incredibly versatile.
Right now I'm just looking at the best option for a split humbucker...
