  3. Hi Michael - thanks for this forum and the tutorials. I especially appreciate the amazing attention to detail and clear camera work that you give to each one.

Quick question for you: what type of actual cabinet/speakers do you feed your AXE FX II into? Do you still feed it into an amp of some kind? If so, what are you using?

    Many thanks!
    Ian.
  4. Michael !

I noticed you had the Jezabels song "Hurt Me" as the intro for your Pride tutorials. Have you seen them live by any chance yet ? I heard they are quite the act, I'll be seeing them in Hollywood next Friday should be a great show.
  5. Hi Michael I was watching your videos about "with or without u" sustainer things...

I want know what's the diferences betwen ebow tone and fernades tone... I mean you choose fernandes just because the edge is using now or you think sounds better or something... I asking because I wish start play this song, and in my country fernandes sustainer is very expensive than a ebow. Thanks
  6. Thank you! No, no one from U2 has contacted us. I'm sure they don't have the time.

New Cover: Edge of Seventeen by Stevie Nicks

by Michael on 05-01-2023 at 12:02 AM
Here it is! I used this to test all my new video gear. I've always wanted to cover this song. It's not as easy as it looks. It's torture on the right hand! 16th notes for over five minutes! No delay! Welcome to my new home studio!

Quick Update

by Michael on 03-31-2023 at 02:21 AM
Hi everyone!

Well, I'm finally settled into our new home in Durham, NC. I have a room in the basement dedicated to music. I've invested in new equipment so that I can make tutorials easier to produce and more professional. Still not ready to come back full force, but slowly getting everything set up and playing a little more guitar. It's been a long time and I'm glad I have my tutorials because I don't remember most of the songs!

I'm working on a new cover that

Forum Update

by Michael on 01-06-2022 at 01:14 AM
Hello U2GT Forum Members, and Happy New Year!

Due to some downtime that wasn't our fault and poor support by our hosting provider, we have decided to migrate this forum to another platform in the coming weeks. If the forum is unavailable, please know we are working in the background and will be back. Also, please contact me and/or Tim if you are a web developer and interested in helping us maintain the vBulletin software. Tim has maintained this site for many years, and it would

Forum Back Up and Running Thanks to Tim

by Michael on 07-22-2021 at 04:27 AM
Forum is back up and running. Apologies for not being involved over the last few years. Lots going on in my life (all good). I will get back to U2GT someday. Please stand by!

I'm looking for a website developer who would like to take over Tim's responsibilities maintaining this forum. Please PM me if you're interested. Tim gets all the credit for this forum, as he put a huge number of hours building and maintaining it. All I did was pay for hosting and the software.

Another Big Thanks to Tim

by Michael on 03-23-2019 at 05:16 PM
I just wanted to say thanks again to Tim who continues to maintain the IT ops and performance. He also pretty much all the work building this forum. We had a database problem recently that increased the CPU and led to the hosting company shutting down our site. It took us both a while to get through to the right people and a few more calls to get them to follow through, but we got it back up and running. Tim specifically spent a couple hours on the phone with a tech support person. All I did
