No offen(s)(c)e taken. I just meant to show you my interpretation, like you said. I took it one step further and did a very, very amateur photo recreation to try to show how the knobs could reflect lightin such a way that it looks like the white part is actually the opposite. So, I have the actual photo of Edge's amp, with my photo recreation below it, and then the clear picture of the amp (with the same exact settings as the photo immediately above it). It's a sort of progresstion. Here's what I came up with (I edited out the leftmost two knobs, as they don't matter anyway):
